About Pine Haven Cottages

Pine Haven is a small campground on Devil Lake. We have four clean two-bedroom cottages for your summer vacation; our newest cottage is wheelchair accessible with your support person. We have tent & serviced trailer sites as well. We welcome you to come & see. You have use of our kayaks or the canoe for up to an hour a day at no charge when available.

Devil Lake is a larger lake; 2600 acres with many islands and 36 miles of shoreline to explore. It is well known for its wonderful scenery and deep, spring-fed waters. Our lake trout, bass, and pike fishing have attracted anglers for decades. Numerous other lakes are a short drive away.

We are in a lush alluvial valley on the shore of Devil Lake. Ancient granite ridges, typical of the Canadian shield are on the east and west sides of our valley. We are in the Frontenac Arch Biosphere a UNESCO World Biosphere — this means our whole area is world renowned for spectacular scenery and biodiversity, up to a billion years in the making.

Scenic paved roads bring you directly to Pine Haven. We are ½ hour north of the 401 (exit 617) and Kingston; 16 km (10 miles) north of us you will find the village of Westport. Twenty minutes past Westport, you will find the scenic Town of Perth and an hour beyond that our nation’s capital, Ottawa. Newboro is a short distance to the east

Each cottage nestles against the ancient natural rock wall and has a well-equipped kitchen, 3-piece bath, small deck; propane BBQ, (propane provided) and a private fire-pit with the first box of wood included with a weekly rental.

Family owned and operated since 1965, Cliff and Terry Ward are the second generation of the family to own Pine Haven; during the summer the campground is managed by Gail. We have a reputation as a clean, comfortable, quiet family holiday destination and we hope you will spend some vacation time with us at Pine Haven this spring, summer or fall!

Pine Haven is a small family campground: we offer peace and quiet with a fantastic view. We have beautiful bright stars at night with some of the darkest skies this far south.
